H&M OPENS IN WOKING’S PEACOCKS SHOPPING CENTRE
H & M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) is continuing to expand in England this Spring, with the opening of a store in Woking’s Peacocks Shopping Centre, on Thursday 18th March at 11am.
Occupying over 1,150 square metres on one level, the new store will carry a range of H&M collections for women, men, and children, including H&M’s high-fashion Divided collection for girls. H&M delivers fashion and quality at the best price for the whole family, with everything from modern basics to the very latest international trends, including coordinated accessories and new items arriving in store daily.
“We’re delighted to have secured this great location in Woking,” says Magnus Olsson, H&M's UK & Republic of Ireland Country Manager. “It’s exciting to continue to expand nationwide, throughout the UK, and to bring our business idea of fashion and quality at the best price to new customers in new towns and cities for H&M. We hope that the store and our Spring / Summer 2010 collections will be well-received by the residents of Woking.”
This spring sees a diverse mix of trends, with ethnic influences from all over the world: our Global Traveler trend, American-style fashion classics and college style looks, in addition to romantic nudes and florals all being in fashion. It’s a season of truly multi-faceted fashion, which can be selected from and mixed up to create your own individual style and update your wardrobe.
H&M opened its first store in the UK in 1976 and currently has 160 stores in the UK and 11 in the Republic of Ireland. The new Woking store will be the 3rd store of a total of 9 planned openings in the UK this Spring, the 163rd store in the UK, and the 139th to open in England.
To celebrate H&M’s arrival in Woking, the first 100 customers will receive randomly selected gift cards ranging in value from £5-£50. There will also be gifts with purchases throughout the day, while supplies last.
